Operation GOREALM Delivers Major Results Against Organised Vehicle Crime

Officers from the South West Proactive Team have successfully disrupted an organised vehicle crime group responsible for stealing high-value vehicles across South West London.

The investigation, known as Operation GOREALM, began following a rise in keyless vehicle thefts involving high-value cars, including BMW, Mercedes and Porsche vehicles.

Working alongside a number of policing teams and specialist units, officers carried out a detailed investigation which resulted in:

✅ Four warrants executed across London, Peterborough and the West Midlands

✅ Four suspects arrested

✅ Recovery of evidence including cloned vehicles, vehicle theft equipment and mobile phones

✅ All four suspects charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles

The investigation linked the group to the theft of approximately £750,000 worth of vehicles across South West London.

This operation demonstrates the commitment of the Metropolitan Police to tackling organised criminality and protecting our communities from vehicle crime.
